The Great Cycle of Becoming

The movement from dawn to midday, sunset, and night offers a framework for understanding beginnings, maturity, endings, and renewal. Students explore where these movements appear in their lives and how each phase asks for a different kind of attention. The teaching emphasizes the wisdom of completing a cycle before demanding a new beginning.

Entering the Egyptian Solar Mysteries

Students encounter Ra’s nocturnal journey through selected Egyptian texts and images, including the twelve hours of the Amduat. Historical study grounds reflection on passage, companionship, obstacles, and renewal. Contemporary journey practices are clearly identified as adaptations inspired by these sources.

The Light Within Uncertainty

The Black Sun becomes the course’s symbol for periods when direction is hidden and transformation remains unfinished. Students explore stillness, uncertainty, and the difference between patient inward listening and becoming lost in interpretation. Learning to Meet Endings

Students explore endings through the image of the setting Sun: a relationship changing, a role concluding, a season of service reaching completion. The work asks what deserves gratitude, what requires repair, and what can now be released. Symbolic death is approached as a change in identity and relationship.

Meeting What We Have Set Aside

Shadow work explores qualities, needs, and emotions we have learned to conceal or reject. Students examine projection, spiritual pride, shame, and the desire for certainty without turning self-examination into self-punishment. The aim is greater honesty and responsibility in relationships.

Giving Sorrow Its Place

Grief may accompany personal loss, ancestral history, changing communities, and the surrender of hoped-for futures. This module offers space for remembrance without requiring disclosure or emotional intensity. Students practice witnessing one another without rushing to explain, interpret, or fix.

Receiving, Questioning, and Choosing

Who are we when our most familiar explanation of ourselves begins to loosen? Students explore threatening figures in myth as invitations to examine fear, conflict, and resistance. Remaining Present in the Unfinished

At the center of the journey, students meet the discomfort of having no immediate answer. Silence and gentle attention support the capacity to remain present without forcing revelation. The Meeting of Renewal and Continuity

Bringing Inner Change Into Relationship

The final module asks how this journey will serve life beyond the course. The Four Winds concludes with gratitude for the journey and a clear commitment to what comes next.
