My name is Matthew "Merlin" Kenney.

When I began seeking out ancient teachings of astrology and magic, I spent years groping in the dark, unable to go beyond beginner-level ritual magic and astrological knowledge.

I couldn't find astrologers discussing anything besides psychology and personality. I couldn't find the deep, profound descriptions purpose and destiny that I KNEW were in my chart. I couldn't learn how to predict the future.

I also found that astrology had become very impractical. Hardly anyone DOES anything with the information that comes from the chart. They don't use the ancient methods of remediation, ritual, and prayer that once were an essential part of the practice.

So I decided to do things differently: to make astrology PRACTICAL again - a tool for profound self-knowledge and world-creation through sacred starlight.

I reintegrated astrology with the ancient practices that made is so powerful as a tool for totally transforming your life from the inside out.

I dove into ancient texts in the Greek and Sanskrit to uncover the ancient ways that the sages and mages of the past worked with the power of the stars. I read philosophy, astrological manuscripts, and magical codices and grimoires on contacting the powers of the heavens.

I went and studied with the magical traditions of the east. I began practicing internal alchemy, meditation, internal martial arts, and more. I started strengthening magical faculties like astral projection, seeing spirits, and other staple skills of the mage.

And I started practicing astrological ritual magic as the ancients practiced it, and it works! With ritual magic, I've been able to manifest a sustainable 6-figure income, 12.5 acres of mature oak forest & healing mineral springs, a blissful, adventure-filled marriage, and more!

More about Your Guide Merlin

Matthew “Merlin” Kenney is a professional classical astrologer and ritual magician. He studied classical philosophy and linguistics at university, and reads and translates Ancient Greek and Sanskrit, utilizing the insights of ancient wisdom in his teaching and client practice.

Merlin has been featured as a speaker on several prominent astrological platforms, including Kepler College and Nightlight Astrology. He has taught about traditional views of the seven planets, the relationship between astrology and philosophy, and advanced techniques for prediction.

 

In addition to lecturing and writing about traditional, practical applications of astrological wisdom, Merlin offers natal chart readings, elections, and horary readings. He teaches several courses on astrology, meditation, and ritual magic. He also co-runs The School of Heaven and Earth with his wife Crystal Woodling.

Merlin’s professional practice is deeply informed by his daily spiritual practice. He is a dedicated practitioner of Ashtanga yoga, Daoist internal alchemy, and Baguazhang. He is a 24th generation discipline of the Daoist Dragon Gate Sect.
