Welcome to Soul Midwifery & Birthing!
This course is for birth doulas, therapists, psychiatrists, holistic healers, counselors, other health service providers, and other curious souls who desire to bring a more holistic approach informed by spiritual insights and traditional wisdom to their work. If you are passionate about expanding your professional toolkit with skills in spiritual counseling, birth coaching, and trauma recovery, you will find great value in this course.
Medical practitioners will develop skills to facilitate holistic healing—spiritually and emotionally as well as physically—through all of life’s transitions and traumas.
Counselors, life coaches, and therapists will imbue their practice with spiritual wisdom founded on ancestral knowledge to support the whole well-being of their clients.

Marza Millar, Grandmother Two Clouds, brings an integrated approach to the thresholds where spirit and body meet.
A revered healer and teacher of Ojibwe and Scottish descent, Marza bridges ancient wisdom and modern healing arts. With expertise in biodynamic as well as allopathic medicine and a passion for imbuing all of life’s stages with spiritual integrity, Marza is a gifted visionary who welcomes ancestral beings and healing energies to support each birth and rebirth process.
While working in allopathic medicine, Marza saw that the spiritual support patients were given as they made crucial life transitions was severely lacking. This realization fueled her passion to imbue soul, spirit, and heart into the physical care she provided, especially during major transitions–times of birth and death.

Marza is passionate about supporting families, especially those with children on the autism spectrum. She knows firsthand how hard it can be, and also how rewarding it is when children grow into their full potential and achieve what others said would be impossible. Her goal is to share her knowledge and experience to help others navigate these challenges, offering understanding and empathy along with skills to help every soul thrive, whatever challenges they face.
Through her teachings, Marza aims to empower students to make each pivotal moment of life an opportunity for spiritual deepening and connection.

Your Path to Ordination
Soul-Midwifery is part of the Thresholds of Life Series, a two-part series culminating in ordination as a minister with the Essence of Life Church, an established ministry since 1979.
For practitioners, ordination will enhance your work as a compassionate holistic care provider, allowing you to guide individuals through the portals at the beginning and end of life, offering spiritual counseling in both the birthing and dying processes. With this training, you can work in hospitals, medical facilities, and private practices.
Upon completing this two-course program and becoming an Ordained Minister, you will be legally allowed to bring your compassionate, spiritual counseling into more hospitals and medical facilities, bridging the gap between holistic and conventional care in settings that may have previously been inaccessible.
With this two-part series, you are invited to explore the soul’s full spiritual evolution from spirit into form and back, from birth to death, and all of the transitions along the way.
- Soul Midwifery & Rebirthing focuses on birth and rebirth—guiding newly born souls as they integrate into physical form, then nurturing this new life. You will be trained to prepare mothers for a spiritually awakened birthing experience through the first five years of childhood. The rebirthing process you will learn draws on ancestral healing transitions. It is for people at any life stage undergoing major changes or healing from trauma.

Complete both Soul Midwifery & Birthing and The Rites of Death and Dying, in no particular order, for ordination as a Minister. Or if you're not interested in the ordination at this time, you can simply take the one course that interests you!

Marza Millar

Marza was born into medicine ways since birth. She is of Ojibwe and Scottish descent. She has been formally educated in both allopathic (western medicine as a nurse) and alternative medicine.

Marza specializes as a medical intuitive and empath, herbalist, healer, and medicine woman. She also uses her clairvoyant skills to do readings and navigate her medicine ways. She specializes in Vibrational Biodynamic Medicine, Biofield Tuning, Hypnotherapy, Plant Spirit Medicine, Vibrational Somatics, and Wildcrafted Handmade Herbal Medicines, Geopathics, Geomancy, Somatic Healing, Soul Retrieval, and Life Coaching. She uses her empathic gifts along with her somatic, alternative, and allopathic education to offer life-changing educational experiences in mind, body, and spirit medicine.
Marza’s work has taken her deep into the Andes to work with the Inca Elders, into the Arctic Circle to work with the Siberian Yupick, and to the tops of the Hopi Mesa's, and deep into the Temples of Egypt. She is known nationally and internationally for her teachings and healing skills. She holds the woman's fireplace of the sweat lodge and vision quest at the linage fire of the Star Clan.
She also works with Damanhur in Italy, an Eco Community, as an educator on vibrational medicine.
She is currently the owner and formulator of a Biodynamic Vibrational Medicine line - Rebel Alchemy and Ancient Earth Apothecary. She also owns an herbal and vibrational medicine school in Nevada City and is on the faculty at the Academy of Oracle Arts.
She currently has a private practice and spiritual ministry in Nevada City, CA and in Upstate New York. She holds the fireplace of the Star Clan Linage Fire. She is Directing Minister of the Church of the Essence.
MEET DR. DANIEL M ALLEN, D.O.
Dr. Allen has been involved in the clinical practice of Osteopathic Medicine for over 30 years. Born in a rural family in western New York State, his early years were a mixture of basic skills from bailing hay and tractor driving to playing the piano and community theater performance. His college experience included a BS degree in Biology, with clearly a minor in music and theater. He graduated with his Osteopathic Doctorate in 1990.
In the summer of 1987, Dr. Allen took his first Cranial Osteopathy Course and experienced the inherent fluid breathing life mechanism for the first time. From that point on his life was altered. Osteopathic manual medicine carried him into his specialty residency training, where he also developed his interest in obstetrics. The portals of Life, both birth and death became fascinating. Throughout his training, he participated in over 200 births. During and after his residency, Dr. Allen worked as an emergency room physician where he was able to combine his technical medical skills with his budding manual skills.
As Dr. Allen made his way through the maze of professional training, which included several dozen extra curricular and professional workshops, he landed in Santa Rosa, California to begin his practice. Dr. Allen, moved his family to Nevada City in the Spring of 2001. For the last twenty three years, he has been offering a fully human based approach to the practice of medicine. Personalized health care is unfortunately uncommon in today's modern world of standardized protocols. Dr. Allen enjoys his personal experience with his patients and works to discover their unique qualities and pathways to their own health. Many office visits are at least 60 minutes, and personal growth is always a part of the process of doctoring for human beings.
