REFUND POLICY: Our wish is that you enjoy the Academy of Oracle Arts and all of our courses.

We have different refund policies for our various types of courses allowing you to explore each course without any risk.

FOR LIVE CLASSES: The deadline to receive a full refund for live classes is seven days after the course begins.

FOR ON-DEMAND EVERGREEN CLASSES: The deadline to receive a full refund for on-demand evergreen self-study classes is seven days after purchase.

FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS, IMMERSIONS OR PILGRIMAGES: Note, in-person events, immersions, or pilgrimages may have a stand-alone refund policy. Please read the terms specific to that product before purchasing.

TO REQUEST A REFUND: To request a refund, please email [email protected] and submit your request. Qualifying refunds will be processed within five business days and an email confirming the refund will be sent. However, we’d love to have a chance to address and resolve your concerns first.

WISDOM OF THE SIERRAS | IMMERSION 1 | MAY 4-5, 2024 | NEVADA CITY, CA

Join us for an OPTIONAL in-person, hands-on immersion to connect with nature and each other and integrate the teachings. We have an immersion for each season so you can learn about that season's plants, nature, and environment.

Immersions are OPTIONAL and attendance is not mandatory to participate in the Year-Long Herbal Arts Apprenticeship. You are welcome to attend whichever ones you can or none at all.

Immersions are also open to all students to register, regardless of whether you enroll in the year-long apprenticeship, although participating in the apprenticeship provides you with a comprehensive and deeper background.

IMMERSION 1
MAY 4-5, 2024 | NEVADA CITY, CA

 

ACTIVITIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Opening Circle getting familiar with each other
  • Learning about simple meditations and trusting our  Intuitions: how to quiet ourselves and hear what the plants have to say to us
  • Plant Walks and Harvesting
  • Garden/land/my home tour
  • Excursion to the Bear River  
  • Identifying the wild Spring herbs
  • Talking about soil and planting
  • Expanding on the importance of microbes, bacteria, microbiomes in our guts and the soil 
  • Reasons for organic vs. non-organic
  • Planting Seeds(both physically and ritual intention)
  • Learning about ritual in nature
  • Medicine making from herbs we’ve harvested
  • Possible guest teacher
  • Cooking dinner together: Food as Medicine-incorporating herbs in our foods/dinner
  • Fireside- Teachings, Poetry/Song, Storytelling

 

COST

The cost for each In-Person Weekend Immersion is $250 per student. 

This includes one meal each day, which we will cook together and share as part of our Food as Medicine lessons.

Each student is responsible for their own travel expenses ( i.e. gas, camping fees, materials fees for making medicine) & all other personal food expenses beyond the one shared meal.

REFUND POLICY

You can request a full refund up to one week before each immersion. One week, from the start date of the immersion, your payment is non-refundable. All immersions must be booked at least one week prior.
