“Tending is a love song in action — a living prayer of presence.”

A Course Born of Devotion
The Art of Tending is a gentle and devotional weekend immersion in Nevada City, CA exploring what it means to truly care—for your inner world, your outer spaces, your relationships, and the unseen threads that weave through it all.
Brought to you with care by ISIS INDRIYA and BAELYN ELSPETH, this in-person offering is born from friendship, devotion, and a shared love of the sacred in everyday life.
Over three days, you’ll be invited into the heart of tending: a quiet, intentional way of being that honors what is precious—within and around you. Through ritual, breath, movement, creative practice, and communion, we’ll explore how to bring beauty and presence to all that we touch.
The Four Realms of Tending
Each session draws from the following realms:
- The Outer Temple - tending the spaces we lives in
- The Inner Temple — the breath and body we inhabit
- The Self Temple —daily devotion & inner-cultivation
- The Relational Temple —our way of meeting one another in the seen and unseen worlds
Rather than adding more to your to-do list, this immersion invites you to slow down, soften, and return to what matters most.
Let this be an invitation to listen more deeply. To tend to what is ready. To walk gently, with devotion.
WHAT YOU MAY RECEIVE
This immersion is an invitation to weave presence into your everyday life—through small, loving gestures of care. You may receive...
-
A grounded and nourishing rhythm to carry into daily life
-
A deeper connection to your body, your breath, your home, and your path
-
Sacred tools and principles for spacekeeping and altar tending
-
Somatic practices to support nervous system regulation and presence
-
Gentle rituals to honor your ancestors, dreams, grief, and joy
-
A renewed relationship with devotion and the unseen world
"Tending asks us to lean in and deeply listen. It is a way of seeing and taking in the surrounding world. It begins with building trust with oneself, tending the internal landscape, and then extending that outward ~ to our loved ones, our home and communities. It is an act of prayer and conscious service. If we learn to tend the tangible aspects of our lives, that which we can be seen and touched, then with greater awareness we can tend to that which is unseen ~ the Cosmic, the Divine.
Have we cultivated practices and rituals in our daily life that help us to remember this most sacred act? That can help us to remember that each moment is precious and that it deserves our presence, our full attention…"

MEET ISIS INDRIYA

Born in Mesa, Arizona, Indigenous to and raised on the island of Guam. Isis Indriya dedicates her life in service to prayer, education, and community activism.
With the loss of her Mother, Deborah, at age of 4, her desire to commune with the Unseen, the Ancestors, and those on the other side has been at the forefront of her life and what led her to Ritual as a way of Life. At the age of 17 she moved to the US and began her studies in mythology & breathwork which led to the focus of Ancient Mystery studies, Sacred Sciences, and Earth Wisdom Traditions.
With cultivation of community at the heart of her offerings, she dove into event production, ritual, & education as a way to create culture. With over 20 years experience in various forms of gatherings, Isis has shared her offerings ranging from one-on-one sessions to facilitation of rituals of over 30k people with Wisdom-Keepers from around the world. Isis dedicates her life to learning and creating platforms for teaching of the sacred sciences of the Ancients, Indigenous wisdom, cultural exchange, Nature’s intelligence, and inner transformation as pathways for moving forward
MEET BAELYN ELSPETH
Baelyn Elspeth grew up in Los Angeles studying dance from the time she was 4. This affinity with movement provided a doorway into her relationship with spirit, health and the body. She has since journeyed into deeper connections with Self through studying a wide array of practices in the Sacred arts.
Over the years, her path has evolved, deepening her relationship to Mother Earth and the Sacred Feminine. She holds space, working intuitively with the elements/nature, tending to life as a Temple through ritual and ceremony. As a student of Zen and the Tao, she values the path of self-cultivation and daily practice in service to awakening the mind and heart toward a deeper devotion to Spirit.
Currently Baelyn resides in Taos, NM and devotes her time to sharing and facilitating sacred space for communities all around the world, bringing the medicine of Tea and Ceremony wherever she goes. Through immersive retreats, workshops, and online mentorships, she guides others in making space for the sacred in their daily lives.

"I have had the great joy of studying with Isis in her Oracle Arts Apprenticeship as well as attending many of her classes and retreats for the past few years. Her teachings ring true and deep in my heart and the impeccable way she presents them have shaped my outlook on life and how I choose to be of service. I appreciate her humble approach to the mystical path and adore the wisdom which seems to flow effortlessly through her. It’s obvious how much devotion Isis has to this offering and her generosity of teachings is a gift to this world."

"Over the last 5 years I have been working with Isis and the Academy of Oracle Arts where I have found family in the community that is committed to these teachings. I can honestly say that my life has changed course since participating in the Oracle Arts Apprenticeship. I am much more aligned with my purpose and this offering gave me the tools to actualize that. Isis has a way of igniting the fire within each student, and bringing their gifts to the forefront. Every single person has a role in her classes and rituals and I love how inclusive and celebratory they are. As a queer non-binary person I have felt graciously welcomed. And felt like the teachings are very inclusive of queer and gender variant folks. Isis continuously creates safe containers for profound and deep work, I've never seen anyone do it like her!"

What OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT BAELYN ELSPETH
“Baelyn skillfully teaches the practical and poetic aspects of tea ceremony in this group mentorship. I found her integrity to her own studentship present in the way she teaches and holds space. It was helpful to be in an intimate group where we could ask questions and share our insights. I’ve come away from the mentorship with more curiosity, humbleness, and respect toward this lineage.”
