Matthew “Merlin” Kenney is a professional ritual magician and classical astrologer, and has been immersed in the Graeco-Egyptian magical traditions for over a decade.
In addition to his professional magical and astrological practice, Merlin has studied Ancient Greek, Latin, and Sanskrit. He has a worked as a translator of Ancient Greek for over seven years, and
consistently uses his own translations of ancient source texts in his work. He always teaches and practices with respect to lineage and ancient source texts. Merlin’s professional practice is deeply informed by his daily spiritual practice:
He studies many methods of ritual magic, Ashtanga yoga, Daoist internal alchemy, and Baguazhang. He is a 24th-generation disciple of the Daoist Dragon Gate Sect.
