Communing with the Ancestors Ritual 

As we enter into the zodiacal timeline of Scorpio and the seasonal cycle of fall in the Northern Hemisphere, we are invited to explore the dynamics of death, loss, and grief in our lives and throughout nature. The more we deepen in these sacred ways, the more we understand that death is not truly an ending, but rather a beginning of something new. This could be a new cycle, a new relationship, or a new plant-being growing from the compost of what once was alive but is now nourishing the soil for new life to emerge. 

During this time in the Wheel of the Year, where the veils between worlds are truly the thinnest, we are offered the opportunity to honor and attune more deeply with those beyond the Veil. We are given space to honor these cycles of life, death, and rebirth of All That Is in celebration. 

This is what the celebrations of Samhain, Dia de los Muertos, and the other Ancestral Feast Days of this time are inviting us to experience from October 31- November 2. 

As an offering to our community to support you in honoring those who have passed into the Realm of the Ancestors, we share this gift with you. 

Communing with the Ancestors Ritual

This devotional practice has been crafted for you to connect with your benevolent ancestors of your familial line, as well as those whom you may love and have loved yet do not share blood or genetic lineage with you. We are all connected through the Web of Life, and each and every one of us has the opportunity to feed, nourish, and support the work within the Realm of the Ancestors so that they may be tended to. 

This practice is reciprocal, for as we tend to them, they also tend to and support us in our lives and work in the world as well. Time and healing are non-linear, and our work always dwells where the realms of spirit and matter meet. As above, so below. As within, so without. 

This ritual (which will be emailed to all who register above) is a FREE gift for those who want to commune in ritual during this highly revered time.

We invite you to either participate in this practice alone or with a group of others who feel called to align with their ancestors in reverence at this time. 

Tools needed for the Ritual:

• Representations of the 4 elements
• Oracle crystal ball / recording stone
• A Kitchen
• All ingredients necessary to prepare a dish connected to the maternal and paternal lines (one dish per line)
• A quiet place to feed and commune with the Ancestors
• Dinnerware to eat /drink from
• A journal if you are doing this alone
• Anything else you would like to offer to the Ancestors at this time
